One on One Help

The purpose of a babywearing consultation is to help you achieve your goals with babywearing! I take a personal approach and see every baby and caregiver as unique individuals with unique needs.

My mission is to equip parents with the tools and resources to carry their children confidently and easily, so that they can do more of the things they love.

How does it Work?

1

Pay & Book

Book an introductory consultation or a quick fit check, and message me to book a time.

Every rental includes a FREE fit check, or a discount on a consultation.
Pay for your consultation and Sarah will email you to set up a time.

*You can also message Sarah directly to arrange a time first.

2

Preparation

Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive a form to complete. You’ll be asked to share information about you and the child you’re carrying, and any carriers you have already used . To help us make the most of our time together, please provide as much detail as possible.

3

The Consultation

Your one-on-one appointment is all about you! Sarah provides step by step fit help and troubleshooting, plus carrier recommendations if what you have is not meeting your needs. Baby sleeping? No problem. Sarah has weighted-demo dolls to practice.

4

Follow Up

Practice what we covered, and reach out with questions or concerns. Each consultation includes a complementary two-week rental!
Want more help? Schedule a follow up consultation for a quick fit check or to review.

FAQs

How long does a consultation last?

When you book the consultation you choose a length of time. 15-minute, 30-minute, and 60-minute appointments are available.

Why should I book a paid consultation?

While there are many different ways to get help with babywearing, working with a certified consultant is the best way to learn about how to get the best fit and the best practices for using your carrier, wrap or sling. A certified babywearing consultant has been trained to meet you where you are and listen to your needs.

Who will I be meeting with?

Right now Sarah does all of the consultations one-on-one with clients. You can read more about Sarah here. As a trained babywearing consultant, Sarah is also connected to a large network of other babywearing consultants, manufactures, and retailers. If she can’t answer your questions, she will do the research or refer you to someone who can!

What if I don’t own a baby carrier yet?

No problem. A consultation can help you understand the ins and outs of different types of carriers and help you choose something that will meet your needs. We can demonstrate different carriers live for you and offer recommendations.

Help! Someone gave me a bag of hand-me-down carriers and I have no idea what they are!

You came to the right place! The parenting community is so generous, and it is VERY common to receive pre-loved carriers, wraps and slings, but not receive instruction manuals. Shoot us photos and whatever information you have, and can walk you through your carriers and how to use them.

We recommend booking an Introductory Consultation to allow for enough time.

I’m interested in borrowing a carrier from you, can I book a consultation to “see” the carriers beforehand?

Yes! We would be happy to demonstrate the carriers in our library for you. For a single carrier, we recommend a 15-minute appointment, and for two we recommend the 30-minute appointment. Contact us with questions or simply book an appointment online today.

I love what you do and am interested in learning more about babywearing, where do I start?

Let’s chat! Are you interested in pursuing a certification or taking a course on babywearing? Would you like to learn more about volunteering in the local babywearing community? Sarah can share some insight into her experiences and help connect you with other resources.
